Who Does a Bail Bondsman Work for?

Steven
Corpus Christi, Tx

Hello, I'm very interested with the bail bondsman area, and I had a few questions I would like to ask. First, does a bail bondsman work for himself or for the Law Enforcement office? Also, how much money does a bail bondsman make per person he catches? I understand that everyone would be different, but maybe you could give me an estimated average. Lastly, is a bail bondsman a civilian? Thank you for taking the time to read this, I hope to continue my interest in this field and your website!

Steven,

Bail Bondsmen work for themselves and are not affiliated with law enforcement entities in any way; they are civilians. Bail Agents, on average, make $300 to $500 for every apprehension but it is important to note than a 10% fee on a $100,000 bail is $10,000... cha-ching!

Warmest Regards,
