I'm 20 years old and all of my life I have an urge to do things related to police work, I have always loved the rush and the thrill of it. I currently work as an undercover security guard, and catch shoplifters daily. I was wondering if you knew of any Bounty Hunter agencies in Kentucky, and do you have to be 21 to be a bounty hunter? I am interested in this more than police work, due to the politics that have over ran in police officers and their jobs. Thanks.

Kentucky abolished the commercial bail bond industry several years ago and

along with it, outlawed bounty hunting in your state as well. So- there are

no clients and it is illegal since there is no provision in state law for

apprehensions by private persons.

 

KY is considered the most unfriendly state (hostile) towards bounty hunters

in the country.
