Body Armor Requirements for Bounty Hunters

From Nick Kuehnast

Willmar Minnesota

What is the most widely used body/chest armor and how much will it cost approximately?

*******************************************************************************

Nick,

See my article on selecting body armor at:

http://www.beabountyhunter.com/bodyarmor.htm

Bottom line take away from the article is to get a vest that at least covers the size and caliber of firearm that you carry, if you decide to carry a firearm, this may help to protect you in the event that someone takes your weapon and tries to shoot you with it.  Police departments typically follow the same rule of thumb.

You can expect to pay between $600 and $800 for concealed body armor that may be effective and comfortable enough that you will wear it regularly.
